An answer from one forum member to a member asking if there were any trains running between BWI and Frederick Maryland:

"In theory", you could take the train from BWI to Frederick. This could only be done on a weekday, and would involve taking the MARC train from BWI (Penn Line) into Washington DC and taking another MARC train (Brunswick Line) out to Frederick County, to be met by a bus at the train station that would take you to Frederick.
I would only recommend this if budget is a real issue, as the time and effort involved would be a real pain imo.

So if you are a business traveler and/or you needed to get from BWI to Frederick on a weekend you *could*
Take a Taxi (as much as $130)
Take a Shuttle (and wait for the other passengers you're sharing a ride with to get home first)
